We rode along the bike path in Kaohsiung. The trip was difficult and slow, but it was definitely worth the effort. There are a lot of scenic spots along our bike route, such as the Kaohsiung Fisherman’s Wharf and the Banana Pier. This area promotes the local culture of Kaohsiung and has become a major attraction. Another interesting place is the Pier-2 Art Center. There are graffiti artworks on the walls and iron statues standing along the surrounding grounds. Despite its artistic and touristic characteristics, the building keeps its original culture, namely its features of an old and abandoned warehouse and factory. There is a huge Transformer robot too. The Pier-2 Art Center is a fun place to visit. There are frequently interesting exhibitions on the program. We also stopped at the Love Pier where we saw some couples taking their wedding photographs.
