The name of our invention work,
Hand-clear Tableware Dispenser,
is self-explanatory that it is
designed to keep tableware and
to dispense with no touch of
hands on tableware.
Our invention consists of 4
major parts:
1. Casing: The casing is made
of transparent acrylic board.
The unit presents a look of
robustness and smartness.
2. Tableware dispensing
system: A sliding
electromagnet unit can be
moved upon the chosen
tableware. And by pushing a
button, the electromagnet is
charged and draws up a
piece of tableware to carry
it to the access window.
3. Power system: The
electromagnet is charged by
the stripped copper wires
embedded in the sliding
rails which are connected to
the batter set. The battery
set provides 27 volts of DC
current.
4. Tableware supporting
system: The tableware is
supported by 2 wellcalibrated
springs which
maintain the top piece of
tableware just within, yet
not too close to, effective
magnetic field of the
electromagnet.
Advantagesof Our Invention
We conclude that our invention
has three major advantages:
1. Hygiene: In common dinners or
restaurants, tableware is usually
put in a tray or basket. People use
their hands to choose and pick the
tableware they want in a pile of
it. In this case, tableware is
touched repeatedly by waiters or
dinners; it potentially becomes
the medium for contagious
diseases especially in flu seasons.
With our invention, Hand-clear
Tableware Dispenser, sterilized
tableware can be kept within the
dispenser. When it is needed, the
top piece of tableware is then
picked up and dispensed to the
access window for the dinners.
Dinner's or waiter's hands are
always clear from the tableware
kept inside. It's a new way to get
dinner's tableware, and most
important of all, it's clean and
safe.
2. Pleasure: While dining at
restaurants, before your order is
served, the waiting could be long.
Our invention provides not just a
clean way to get one's tableware,
it allows people to operate and
see the whole dispensing process
through the transparent casing. It
makes preparing knives and forks
just like playing crane games. It
adds fun and joys to the dining; it is an invention with creativity and humanity.
3. Cost and economics: The making of the invention is very cost effective. The major components are hardware anyone can get at a regular hardware store. In a scale of mass-production, cost will be something under 4 US dollars. Besides that, dinners or restaurants adopting tableware dispensers not just improve their sanitary standard, they also save the money for hiring waiters to serve the tableware.
